About the Role
This position reports to the Senior Relatinship Manager - Corporate. The Successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and elevating a high level of customer service to our High Valued Customer protfolio of clients. Other important priorities within the Corporate team are driving growth in loans and other products, strengthening credit practices and processes and compliance. The purpose of this role is to retain and deepen relationships with our customers through developing an understanding of their business, providing professional advice and taking ownership for seamless service delivery.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Preparing appropriate sales proposal documents and submission documents
- Conducting cash flow, risk and financial statements analysis, including reviewing and analyzing Balance Sheet and completing serviceability worksheets.
- Providing Senior Relationship Manager/Relationship Managers and/or customers with appropriate analysis and information to highlight any risks associated with their portfolios and financial requests
- Conducting regular monitoring of customer portfolios and identifying any risks to the Bank
- Proactive contact and engagement with customers to discuss additional financial needs and cross selling opportunities
- Executing on service requests in an efficient and effective manner and following up service requests wih customers and/or internal areas
- Provide accurate documentation to support a lending request
- Maintain general customer account, with the ability to identify further customer opportunities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Minimum qualification - Form 6 or Form 7 Certificate.
- Preferably Tertiary in business, commerce, finance or economics
- Broad knowledge of the Bank’s products and processes with particular focus on Banking Products
- Sound computer skills, spread sheeting and word processing applications; Knowledge of Bank rist/credit and compliance standards
- Intermediate Technical Skills
- 3-5 years’ experience in Lending environment or similar Understanding custormer needs and delivery of superior customer experience
