Position Details

About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring that all Branch Operations processes are carried out in terms of agreed procedures and compliance requirements. These include but are not limited to checking transactional channel workflow, new account management, account maintenance, GL reconciliation, e-business, international documentation and loans processing. The Examiner Officer needs to be multi-skilled to check work in any of these areas in accordance with the prevailing demand.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Accurate and timely checking of relevant banking processes
  • Internal and external compliance and regulatory adherence
  • Providing technical advice to business
  • Identification of training needs within the team and escalating these to the Team Leader to address
  • Dealing with people at different levels
  • Accordance With The Bank’s Policies, Procedures And Internal Controls
  • Adherence To The Banks Regulatory Obligations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Form 6 or 7 School Certificate
  • Diploma Business Management or related field
  • Strong technical knowledge on both product and
  • Knowledge of multiple systems including Midas (international platform), ICBS (Trading bank), Euronet (Credit cards), Biszdocs (Customer document archive).
  • Ability to understand and apply process
  • Effective communication skills required to deal with people at different levels in providing technical advice.
  • Interpersonal skills in dealing with staff
